Creating PDF Files (the recommended way)
Quark Xpress 4/5 users need to create postscript files and distil these using Distiller 4, Distiller 5, Distiller 6 or Distiller 7
Quark Xpress 6 users need to create postscript files and distil these using Distiller 4, Distiller 5, Distiller 6 or Distiller 7
InDesign 2 users need to create postscript files and distil these using Distiller 4, Distiller 5, Distiller 6 or Distiller 7
Pagemaker 6.5 users need to create postscript files and distil these using Distiller 4, Distiller 5, Distiller 6 or Distiller 7
Pagemaker 7 users need to create postscript files and distil these using Distiller 4, Distiller 5, Distiller 6 or Distiller 7

Adobe Application Specific Joboption Files
Acrobat 9
Creative Suite 2
Creative Suite 3
Creative Suite 4
Distiller 8

IMPORTANT NOTES
Quark Xpress 4 or 5 users ONLY take special note (Quark 3 not supported) - To colourise a greyscale TIFF image from Quark please download the Quark Xtension relating to either Mac or Windows. Then please expand (using WINZIP Windows or STUFFIT Macintosh) and place into the Xtensions folder in Quark. Re-start Quark and check you have the file AGFACTiff active.
Distiller 4 & 5 users should add this file to your Distiller start up folder- Refiner This will keep spot colour blends from converting to CMYK.

Exporting directly to PDF files (Only to be used if you are unable to use the recommended way above)
Quark Xpress 6, InDesign 1.5, InDesign 2, InDesignCS or Illustrator 10
The Quark export in version 6.5 is not as version 6.0 or 6.1. The settings on here are set for all versions and were updated in December 2004. If upgrading to 6.5 then you must use either the postscript settings at the top of this page or these new export settings. We will not be responsible if you don't.
