In order to provide its customers with the highest quality printed material, Caric Press is committed to using only equipment at the forefront of printing technology. We further recognise the importance of considering the environment at all stages of the printing process, and are actively working towards reducing our impact.
In order to demonstrate our commitment to continuous improvement, including the prevention of pollution, we constantly review and set all our suppliers specific environmental objectives and targets based on our own environmental aspects. We also undertake an annual compliance review to ensure that we act in accordance with all relevant environmental legislation.
In addition the company will endeavour to encourage all its suppliers to :
• Reduce carbon emissions via energy efficiencies
• Minimise waste production and encourage recycling
• Lower solvents usage by implementing new technology
• Conserve natural resources used in manufacturing and despatch operations
• Maintain a duty of care requirements through the safe storage and disposal of waste
• Reduce noise to the lowest possible levels practicable
• Maintain best housekeeping standards at all times
• Operate in a responsible manner communicating the very best possible environmental practice to all employees
• Maintain an environmental management system that reflects the principles outlined above.
